Questions

Who is the guide for?

Complete beginners and casual stargazers in the Northern Hemisphere: anyone who has looked up and wondered what they were seeing.

Do I need a telescope?

No. Everything in the guide can be seen with the naked eye, and a few targets look even better through ordinary binoculars.

Can I print it?

Yes. The six pages are laid out for A4 and also print fine on US Letter with "fit to page". The observing log on the last page is made for pencil.

Why do I need to complete a task?

It replaces a paywall. Our advertising partner pays for your one short task, which keeps the guide, and everything else on Deep Field, free.
